Job Summary: The Export Sales Specialist will focus on managing and growing our export sales, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth export operations. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support and Sales:

  • Respond to inquiries from international customers and provide product information and quotations.
  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to meet international sales targets.
  • Process and manage export orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Order Management:

  • Prepare and review export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange shipping and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct research on international markets to identify potential customers and opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and support strategic decisions.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that all export activities comply with international trade regulations, including customs requirements and export controls.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade regulations and tariffs affecting export activities.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and distributors.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to export transactions and customer service.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Track and report on export sales performance and metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of export transactions and customer interactions.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of export operations.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and strategies for international markets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.2-6 years of experience in export sales or international business support.Familiarity with international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in [languages] is an advantage.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
