Job Summary: The Export Sales Specialist will focus on managing and growing our export sales, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth export operations. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support and Sales:
- Respond to inquiries from international customers and provide product information and quotations.
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to meet international sales targets.
- Process and manage export orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Order Management:
- Prepare and review export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange shipping and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on international markets to identify potential customers and opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and support strategic decisions.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all export activities comply with international trade regulations, including customs requirements and export controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade regulations and tariffs affecting export activities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and distributors.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to export transactions and customer service.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Track and report on export sales performance and metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions and customer interactions.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of export operations.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and strategies for international markets.
