Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the overall business objectives of both companies.
- Lead long-term financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team to support decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses for both companies.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators and analyze variances from budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Cash Flow and Capital Management:
- Manage the cash flow position of both companies, including optimizing working capital, managing debt, and ensuring adequate liquidity.
- Oversee capital allocation, investment decisions, and financing strategies to support business growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the financial stability of both companies.
- Oversee the implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead audits, both internal and external, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the finance teams of both companies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with other department heads to align financial management with operational goals.
- Promote a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism within the finance teams.
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Lead financial due diligence and integration planning for any mergers or acquisitions.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both companies.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree in Finance is preferred.Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is highly desirable.Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven experience in the construction or ready-mix concrete industries is essential.Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.Strong experience in managing cash flow, capital allocation, and risk management.strategic thinking and the ability to influence and drive business decisions.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.High level of integrity, ethical standards, and professional judgment.
