Union powder coating company has seen significant growth in recent years, thanks to the increasing demand for durable and environmentally friendly coating solutions. This has created a vital need for skilled sales representatives who can effectively communicate the benefits of powder coating products and services to potential customers. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Sales representatives are expected to actively seek out new clients and markets for powder coating services. This includes networking at industry events, and following up on leads generated through various channels.

2. Product Knowledge: Sales representatives must be able to explain technical information clearly and accurately, addressing client questions and concerns to build trust and credibility.

3. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is a significant part of the sales role. Effective communication is crucial, as representatives must routinely check in with existing customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.

4. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Sales representatives should be prepared to conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits to showcase the benefits of powder coating solutions. This may also involve coordinating with technical and production teams to address specific customer requirements.

5. Negotiation and Closing Sales: Successfully negotiating contracts and closing deals is a core responsibility. Representatives must be skilled in assessing customer needs and proposing effective solutions while ensuring pricing and terms are competitive and profitable for the company.

6. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Sales representatives work closely with marketing, Technical support, and customer service teams to ensure client expectations are met. They must relay customer feedback to help improve product offerings and service delivery, contributing to the overall success of the company.

7. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Regularly reporting on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis is crucial to keep management informed. Representatives are often responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales data and forecasts to help shape future sales strategies.

 

 


Qualifications1. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is typically preferred. Knowledge of coatings technology can be an added advantage.2. Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in manufacturing, coatings, or a related industry, is a plus but not a must. Sales training will be provided. (fresh graduates are welcomed to apply)3. Technical Expertise: Understanding the technical aspects of powder coating processes and materials is a plus but not essential. Training related to coatings technology will be provided.
