- Design and teach High school courses in Visual Arts within the School’s Canadian curriculum with the possibility of offering balanced instruction includes foundational elements of art and application of a variety of processes including but not limited to drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
- Evaluate and grade students' class work , assignments and projects.
- Compose, administer, and grade students’ culminating projects.
- Perform appropriately frequent and accurate assessments of students’ progress.
- Communicate effectively and punctually with administrators, students, and parents.
- Provide curricular and extracurricular support for student activities related to visual arts pursuits including visual arts contests, gallery exhibitions on campus and off, and student participation in visual arts conferences or festivals.
Bachelor degree in Fine arts / applied arts or any equivalent degree.Masters degree is an asset Excellent command of written and spoken EnglishExcellent communication skills Excellent class management skills Be familiar with Ontario Curriculum of Arts is an asset
