Roles & Responsibilities
• Performing cost estimations and preparing project budgets.
• Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
• Quantity Survey all architectural, structural, Landscape works for the tender package.
• Preparing financial and technical offers for civil and architectural aspects of various BOQs.
• Computing the cost of all construction items by analyzing the labor, material, overhead, profit and time requirements & presenting a tender price.
• Prepare and submit the variation orders (VO) with Quantity take-off, cost estimation (CE) and rate analysis with all supporting documents.
• Study the project s documents like drawings, specifications, and schedule, review tender documents and contract to be able to follow up on materials required.
• Prepare technical & commercial proposals.
• Attend clarification meetings with Client when required.
• Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor's degree Civil/ Architect Engineering
· 3-7 Years of Experience in Tendering and cost estimation
· Main work Experience in Construction
· Proven Experience in QS
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent Negotiation Skills
· High level of experience in engineering software (2D and 3D ACAD, REVIT)
· Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel, Strong multitasking abilities and strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills, Project management skills, and tender preparation skills
