Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Software Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by testing them thoroughly and identifying any issues or bugs. Additionally, you will need to have the ability to understand MySQL queries and work with the development team to verify data accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications to identify and document defects, bugs, and other issues.
-Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software meets user requirements and quality standards.
-Collaborate with software developers and project managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and communicate test results and progress updates.
-Develop a thorough understanding of software specifications, user requirements, and design documentation.
-Create and maintain test data, environments, and test documentation.
-Understand MySQL queries and work with the development team to verify data accuracy and consistency.
-Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure the highest level of quality assurance.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.-2+ year of experience in software testing and quality assurance.-Proficient in manual and automated testing techniques, tools, and methodologies.-Knowledge and understanding of MySQL queries and ability to work with SQL databases.-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.-Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.-Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.-Additional Qualifications (Are a plus if available).-Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.-Experience with Agile methodologies.-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
