- Proposal Development:
- Review and analyze requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and other client requirements specific to oil services.
- Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals that meet client specifications and adhere to company standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, sales, procurement, and finance, to collect accurate information for proposal preparation.
- Communicate with Vendors and sub-suppliers to confirm, explain, and discuss the required scope of work.
- Coordinate with the Sales department to understand client requirements and meet them.
- Technical Writing:
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive content for proposals, including technical descriptions, project plans, methodologies, and value propositions tailored to the oil services industry.
- Ensure all written materials are well-organized, error-free, and tailored to the client's needs.
- Cost Estimation:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, relevant to oil services projects.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure pricing is competitive and aligns with company profitability goals.
- Client Communication:
- Liaise with clients to clarify requirements, address queries, and provide additional information as needed.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to support the proposal process.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all proposals comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards specific to the oil services industry.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all proposals, contracts, and related documentation.
- Project Handover:
- Assist in the transition of successful proposals to project teams, ensuring they have all the necessary information to execute the project effectively.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities in the oil services sector.
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions and proposal strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.3-5 years of proven experience as a proposal engineer.Very Good command of English and MS Office.Able to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Professional efficiency in managing multiple requests/projects in parallel.Professional Knowledge of calculus, statistics, and their applications.Able to build and deliver presentations.Experience in Oil & Gas industrial segments is a plus.
