Job Summary:
- The Operations Manager will coordinate between all engineering & project management activities related to construction projects. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing all project execution processes, plus dealing with contractors in align with the purchasing dept.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operation team, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with purchasing team & contractors to ensure best pricing offer.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineering team to ensure technical specifications and quality standards are met.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and provide technical support.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, engineering performance, and operational improvements to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
Degree in Business, Operations Management or related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in operation management with 5 in managerial post within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.Proven leadership skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Safety tools updatesExperience budgeting and forecastingFamiliarity with business and financial principles
