Alkan Networks is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager with a strong technical background in generator supply and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in project management methodologies, practices, and procedures, with a preference for certified project managers (IPMA/PMP). The role requires frequent travel and onsite presence during outage phases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

• Create comprehensive project plans covering schedule, cost, risk & opportunity, crisis management, procurement, quality, and resources.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

• Negotiate with vendors and contractors regarding work scope changes and ensure timely completion of all contract commitments as per the scope of work and technical specifications.

Sub-contractor Management:

• Define sub-contractor requirements.

Solution Development:

• Develop solutions to critical business issues and present alternatives.
• Develop and submit business cases and project justifications.

Team Coordination:

• Conduct kick-off and project progress update meetings with the project team.

Project Closure:

• Ensure successful project closure, including PAC, TOC, and FAC.
