- Follow-up with the Civil Defense Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Office on any issues related to industrial security.
- Participate in the Occupational Safety Committee and supervise the implementation of occupational safety programs approved by the Safety Committee.
- Develop emergency procedures, implement, and follow up on execution.
- Develop a plan to implement the prevention program against expected risks (prevention plan).
- Develop an awareness plan and train employees to implement the prevention plan and conducting periodic inspections of firefighting equipment and emergency exits at the university.
- Cooperate with security officers to perform regular security inspections, addressing any security risks or threats, troubleshooting, diagnosing security or safety vulnerabilities and implementing effective interventions.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to occupational safety.
- Supervise the locations and ensure availability of needed health and safety signs at the university.
- Report any defect or shortcoming in the safety systems within the university.
- Ensure the availability of all safety equipment and devices and emergency tools such as fire extinguishers and first aid boxes.
- Ensure that all safety laws are applied in the workplace.
- Ensure that a risk analysis is conducted in all workplaces, includes developing and analyzing potential scenarios.
- Move immediately to the place of reports that violate the security and safety of the university and take immediate measures in this regard and investigate incidents to reduce their occurrence in the future.
have higher education certificate or its equivalent from a technical institute that is related to occupational safety and health work.have proven experience in the field of occupational safety and health of not less than 3 years.have an accredited certificate from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Securing the Work Environment and specialized courses in that field, for example (OSHA)Experience writing health and safety reports and policies.Familiarity with performing data analysis and preparing statistical reports
