Job Title: E-commerce Specialist


Job Summary:
The E-commerce Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an e-commerce platform, implementing marketing strategies, and analyzing performance data to enhance online sales and customer engagement. This role involves coordinating with various departments, including marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure a seamless online shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Platform Management:
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce site, including product listings, pricing, and inventory management.
o Ensure the website is up-to-date, functional, and optimized for user experience and search engines.


2. Marketing and Sales Strategies:
o Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns and special offers.


3. Performance Analysis:
o Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and other e-commerce analytics platforms.
o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.


4. Customer Experience:
o Enhance the online shopping experience by optimizing the website's design, navigation, and checkout process.
o Address customer inquiries and issues related to the e-commerce platform, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.


5. Content Management:
o Manage and update product content, including descriptions, images, and pricing.
o Coordinate with product managers and content creators to ensure accurate and engaging product listings.


6. Inventory and Order Management:
o Oversee inventory levels, ensuring products are available and up-to-date on the e-commerce site.
o Monitor and manage order fulfillment processes, including shipping and returns.


7. Technology Integration:
o Work with IT and development teams to integrate new technologies and tools that enhance e-commerce capabilities.
o Stay current with e-commerce trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.


8. Reporting and Insights:
o Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
o Identify trends and opportunities for growth and optimization.
 


Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.• Experience: 1-2  years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related role.• Skills:o Proficiency in e-commerce platforms o Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.o Excellent analytical skills and experience with analytics tools.o Strong communication and project management skills.o Familiarity with web design and development principles is a plus.Desired Attributes:• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to managing product listings and ensuring data accuracy.• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.Working Conditions:• FIXED SHIFT 10 – 6• TWO DAYS OFF • LOCATION : THE DOWNTWON CAIRO
