Export Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement the company’s export strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify target markets and potential customers in different countries.
  • Analyze global market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.

Client Management & Business Development:

  • Build strong relationships with international distributors, wholesalers, and direct customers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with international clients.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of export documentation, including customs declarations, shipping documents, and certificates of origin.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party service providers.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new markets, customer needs, and product trends.
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to refine and adjust export strategies.

Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage the export budget, including sales forecasts and expense tracking.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • Prepare regular reports on export activities, performance, and market conditions for senior management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis and export performance.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.  (master’s degree is a plus).Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in export management, preferably in the food processing industry.Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and export documentation.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proven ability to develop and execute successful export strategies.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
