Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing network architecture, propose enhancements, and
design innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate in planning, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient
network infrastructures aligned with IT objectives.
• Provide high-level consultation and guidance to stakeholders on network architecture,
security strategies, and technology solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, technologies, and architectural trends to incorporate
them into network designs.
• Possess expertise across diverse network technologies including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloudbased
networking, and software-defined networking (SDN).
• Ensure seamless integration of various technologies, applications, and systems into the
network infrastructure for optimized performance and security.
• Keep updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and evolving security models to
anticipate and mitigate potential risks.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement advanced security measures, frameworks, and models
to fortify the network against cyber threats.
• Develop and implement incident response plans, protocols, and procedures to effectively
handle and mitigate security incidents.
• Lead and coordinate incident response activities, perform forensic analysis, and provide postincident
reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement corrective actions based on the IR outcomes.
• Document and report findings from security audits, providing recommendations for
remediation.
• Maintain audit trails and logs for network activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and data privacy laws, implementing
necessary controls and practices.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability assessments to identify and
address network security gaps.
• Continuously enhance security measures based on audit findings and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement improvements in response to audit
recommendations.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of security
enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network security configurations and audit
procedures.
• Generate regular reports summarizing audit findings, security incidents, and compliance
status.
• Present audit reports to relevant stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field• 8+ years of experience in Network and Security Administration.• Proven expertise in incident response, forensic analysis, and security incident handling• Proven experience in managing and maintaining complex network infrastructure and securitysystems.• In-depth knowledge of network Devices, and protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, androuting/Switching• Strong expertise in security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.• Strong attention to detail and adherence to industry standards• Passion for technology and continuous learning• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification• Security+ or equivalent certification• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or relevant vendor-specific certifications are preferred.
