· Drives the sales plan through consistent focus on studying the business, monitoring inventory and sales performance, and bringing in new products based on predicted needs of the customer.
· Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
· Track shipments and address any delays.
· Evaluate suppliers’ offers and negotiate profitable deals.
· Achieving sales and inventory plans in our retail stores that meet the assigned financial targets and company objectives..
· Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality.
· Analyze the slow movement items in consultation with dept. staff & advice for corrective action.
· Make visits to the stores on weekly basis to ensure the consolidation of stock are well executed.
· Ensure distribution to be made based on the shop budget & requirement
· Forecast future merchandise plans based on best selling & trendy products.
· Bachelor degree in any discipline. · 1-3 years of experience.· Proven work experience as a Merchandising Planner or a Stock Controller preferably in fashion industry. · Good understanding of supply chain procedures. · Excellent analytical & organization skills. · Good communication and negotiation abilities.
