Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager - Interior Architect to lead our design team in creating innovative and visually appealing interior spaces. The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from concept development to final implementation of interior designs. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs align with brand standards, market trends, and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance and mentorship to foster creativity and professional growth specifically within interior architecture.
2. Develop creative concepts and designs for interior spaces considering current trends, client preferences, functionality needs while maintaining brand identity.
3. Collaborate with project management teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements while adhering to local building codes.
4. Oversee the creation of visualizations or 3D models of proposed designs before final implementation.
5. Conduct regular design reviews to provide constructive feedback on aesthetics, functionality within spatial constraints etc., based on architectural principles.
6.Manage project timelines effectively while coordinating resources both internal (designers) & external (contractors)to deliver high-quality designs within deadlines.
Requirements:1. +12 years of experience as a Design Manager or similar role in an architectural or interior design firm2.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a creative team towards achieving set goals within architecture-specific contexts.3.Proficiency in relevant architectural software such as AutoCAD Revit, 3dsmax , corona render, etc., as well as knowledge of current design trends specifically related to interiors & spatial planning4.Excellent communication skills essential when collaborating with cross-functional teams at all levels of organization including clients & contractors5.A keen eye for detail combined with strong understanding of space planning principles & constructability methodsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree is preferred.We are looking for a passionate individual who can drive innovation through exceptional leadership while ensuring that our projects consistently meet high standards of quality both aesthetically & functionally.
