- Ensure health and safety measures comply with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct investigations into all accidents, environmental incidents, near-miss incidents, and employee concerns, recording findings.
- Execute control inspections to ensure compliance with regulations, identify, evaluate, and control detected risks.
- Conduct new personnel induction training, emergency safety exercises, and training sessions.
- Perform safety inspections on site facilities and equipment using the HSE checklist.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Monitor work processes and procedures to identify unsafe practices or breaches of safety regulations.
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
- Ensure lifesaving and fire-fighting equipment are properly maintained, certified, and ready for immediate use.
- Assist management in ensuring the workforce complies with HSE standards, company HSE regulations, and policies.
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.Relevant experience in safety.Minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Background in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
