- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products
- Confirm proper and timely delivery of products
- Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff; put worker safety as a top priority
- Perform various inventory counts; order supplies and goods as needed
- Warehouse supervisors are in charge of inventory in a warehouse or similar space. They lead a team of inventory or warehouse workers to receive and record new stock as it comes in and move stock onto trucks or store shelves as needed.
- Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and clean and tidy workspace is kept at all times
- Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as needed
- Ensure that shipment materials match packing lists before dispatching orders
- Assist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse staff
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements.
