- Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
- Prepare and compile all necessary documentation for tender submissions, including technical and commercial proposals.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct technical reviews of tender documents and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to gather the necessary information.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, design, finance) to ensure all aspects of the tender are covered.
- Participate in pre-tender meetings and site visits as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tender activities.
- Prepare detailed tender reports and presentations for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Education: a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, construction management, or a related field.Experience: A minimum of 4–7 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong background in tendering and cost estimation.Skills:Proficiency in tendering and cost estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, CostX).Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Familiarity with local and international tendering procedures and regulations.Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
