Job Description: Windows Systems Engineer
The Windows Systems Engineer oversees the management and maintenance of Windows servers operating on the Plesk platform in a hosting environment, focusing on achieving high performance and reliability for customer services and managing Microsoft Exchange email servers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows servers operating on the Plesk control panel, including software installation, system updates, and security management.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange email servers, including user account configuration, group management, and security policy enforcement.
- Monitor and optimize server performance, ensuring service availability around the clock.
- Implement backup strategies and data recovery to ensure service continuity.
- Support customers and resolve technical issues related to servers, operating systems, and Exchange email.
- Develop and implement security policies and necessary corrections to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Manage and guide the technical support team to ensure the delivery of excellent customer support.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing Windows servers in a hosting environment, with excellent proficiency in using and managing Plesk.Experience in managing Microsoft Exchange email servers, including user account configuration and maintenance.Deep knowledge of the Windows Server operating system, networking technologies, and security.Ability to handle pressure and effectively solve problems.Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.Microsoft Certified in Windows server management is an additional advantage. Ability to work full-time at the company in Cairo, Egypt.
