- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements and company objectives.
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and compliance with contract terms.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage procurement budgets and provide regular reports on procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in procurement software and tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Certification in procurement (e.g., CPP, CPM) is a plus.
