Position: Junior Freelance Solar PV Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Freelance Solar PV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering with a focus on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing solar PV systems using industry-standard software and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and draft solar PV systems using AutoCAD.
- Conduct simulations and performance analyses with PVsyst software (knowledge or willingness to learn quickly).
- Work on up to three projects daily, with each project requiring approximately three hours of focused effort.
- Utilize Excel for data management, calculations, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates and receive feedback.
Qualifications:- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on solar PV systems.- Good in AutoCAD, with the ability to create detailed and accurate designs.- Familiarity with PVsyst software is a plus, but a willingness to learn it quickly is essential.- Strong skills in Excel for managing project data and performing calculations.- Reliable internet access to facilitate remote work and communication.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Passionate about renewable energy and committed to advancing solar technology.Skills and Attributes:- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.Work Environment:- Remote work with flexible hours.
