The general accountant is responsible for maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounting practices within a multivendor e-commerce environment. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a periodic basis.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other general ledger accounts.
• Process and record accounts payable invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in a timely manner.
• Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and maintaining customer account records.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support business planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate the annual audit process and work closely with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support various business functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Collaborate cross-functionally with the e-commerce, operations, and management teams.
