We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Developer with a strong focus on SQL to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions to support our e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and databases for our e-commerce platform.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance to ensure fast and reliable data retrieval.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Develop and implement data models, schemas, and stored procedures.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of database systems.
- Perform regular database maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
QualificationsProven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role with a strong focus on SQL.Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).Solid understanding of data modeling, indexing, and query optimization techniques.Experience with backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js is a plus.Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Experience in the e-commerce industry.
