Financial Management:
- Manage all financial aspects related to the construction site, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor project expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure financial targets are met.
Accounting and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Generate regular financial reports for project stakeholders, highlighting financial performance, cash flow projections, and budget vs. actual analysis.
Cost Control and Analysis:
- Track project costs, review purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, and expense reports to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and provide financial insights to support decision-making on site-related expenditures.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and reconciliations as necessary.
Cash Management:
- Manage site-specific cash flows, including petty cash, bank reconciliations, and monitoring of project funding requirements.
- Forecast cash needs and coordinate fund transfers between project accounts as required.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with project managers and corporate finance teams.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas of financial risk.
Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide financial guidance and support to site personnel, including training on financial procedures and policies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
