- Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Coordinate the budgeting process and develop forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accounting systems and implement process enhancements to streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and facilitate the preparation of tax returns.
- Review and approve purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payment requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the AR process, including customer invoicing, collections, and credit management.
- Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, costing, and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels, turnover rates, and shrinkage, and perform periodic physical inventory counts.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records in the accounting system and reconcile inventory sub-ledger to the general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to AP, AR, and inventory.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L statements for management review.
- Present P&L analysis to senior management, highlighting key drivers of financial performance and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or financial management, preferably in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
