1. Scrutiny and evaluation of tender documents including drawings, project specification, BOQ, scope of work, contract details and conditions.
2. Participate in pre- tender meetings, site visits and preparing site visit report to analyze the project scope of work.
3. Preparing technical clarifications / tender queries to the Client for discrepancies in the tender documents and incorporating the changes after response.
4. Analyze the tender BOQ, quantities take off, sending enquiries to the vendors and specialist system contractors to get competitive quotations.
5. Prepare prime cost estimates and post tender feed out information.
6. Conclude fully considered tenders for departmental settlement.
7. Implementation of tender strategy as communicated by the proposals / Estimation Manager.
8. Liaise with construction / operations team to establish execution / method statements.
9. Assist the management for post tender commercial negotiations with client and vendors as well to reach competitive pricing.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of working experience-Experience in HVAC ,Plumbing and Fire Fighting -Review and validation of complete project documents,-Review specification and IFC-Capable in mechanical items Estimation of variety of projects- Proven experience in the Estimation of mechanical systems within the MEP industry- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and optimize mechanical solutions- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders- Strong project Estimation skills, including the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and oversee multiple projects concurrently with dedicated estimation formats.- Able to work on Plamswift and Estimation softwares.
