- Arrangement of shipments
- Negotiate with Line to the lowest best price with comprehensive payment terms.
- Approve bookings for container and freight pick up, and ensure coordination for shipments.
- Take responsibility for the shipment from its origin country until the shipment is delivered to the Warehouse
- Review and sign off shipping documents while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Notify consignees, or customers of the arrival of freight, and arrange for delivery.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations for all equipment and materials
- Review and approve and follow up the documents, processes and controls of freight payment and audit system and ensure all documents, processes and controls are updated.
- Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with overseas countries' regulations and fiscal regimes.
- Notify consignees, or customers of the arrival of freight, and arrange for delivery.
- Advise clients on transportation and payment methods.
- Determine method of shipment, and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Obtaining new accounts and furthering current business.
Fluent English spoken & written.Have experience in shipping & Export ,import,clearance formalitiesdeclarations , knowledge of international trade and shipping practiceBe a proficient computer user including the full Microsoft Office package.Be able to work in a busy environment, effectively prioritizing workload.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail.Minimum 3 years’ experience in export &ImportExperienced in coordinating for shipments, quoting and negotiating rates, handling bookings, document preparation, researching and resolving freight discrepancies and customer complaints, corresponding with overseas offices, agents and consignees, and closing files when shipments are completed.Strong data entry skills and being keen to details are required.
