Main Job Duties:
- Design all company labels and packaging
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Plans concept by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.
- Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations
- Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
- Determine the message the design should portray
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message
- Create designs either by hand or using computer software packages
- Demonstrate a solid implementation of layouts, colors, and typography based on the brief.
- Collaborate with marketing team to understand project requirements and translate them into creative and effective designs concepts.
- Designing branding and visual elements such as product labels, packaging, stationeries or social media posts in accordance with brand guidelines, strategy, and positioning.
- Creating high quality marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, presentations, product catalogs, and posters, cards to promote products or services.
- Ability to design both flat designs and fledge it on mock up for better visualization
- Modify/ amend existing designs upon request.
- Editing and retouching white background pictures and ability to use retouching tools.
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, and schedule project implementation based on workload.
- Overseeing the printing process to ensure color quality and consistency.
- Attending print proofs
- Review all samples/proofs of packaging development with marketing team
- Keep an organized library with the evolution of final developed package and brand elements
Qualifications:The ideal Candidate should have:· Bachelor Degree in Design, Applied Arts, Fine Arts, or related field.· 3+ years of experience as a graphic designer, visual designer, or similar.· Expertise in design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).· Proven experience in digital, printing and packaging design including basic knowledge of die-cuts.· Solid knowledge in different printing processes, types of materials and color theory.· Up to date with the latest design trends & technologies.· Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.· Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.· A strong portfolio showing your design skills and creativity.
