E-commerce Operations Specialist

The E-commerce Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an e-commerce business. This includes managing order fulfillment, inventory management, customer service, and logistics to ensure efficient and seamless online order processing. The specialist will work closely with the e-commerce team to optimize workflows, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

  1. Order Fulfillment Management: Oversee the order fulfillment process, including order picking, packing, and shipping. Ensure orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
  2. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, coordinate with the vendors to ensure adequate stock of popular products, and implement effective stock control procedures.
  3. Customer Service Oversight: Manage the customer service, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and complaints.
  4. Logistics and Shipping Coordination: Communicate with logistics providers, negotiate shipping rates, and optimize delivery routes and methods to minimize costs and delivery times.
  5. Process Improvement: Continuously analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  6. Reporting and Analytics: Generate detailed reports on key performance indicators, such as order fulfillment rates, customer satisfaction, and inventory turnover. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.2-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or customer service management.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficient in using e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and data analysis tools.Knowledge of shipping carriers, logistics, and fulfillment best practices.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
