- Ensuring that all accounts payable transactions are recorded accurately and processed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
- Providing accurate accounts payable information for financial statements and management reports.
- Managing relationships with vendors to ensure favorable terms and timely payments.
- Overseeing the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, verification, and payment authorization.
- Supervising the AP team to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Reviewing and approving invoices for payment.
- Ensuring that invoices are matched with purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Addressing discrepancies and resolving issues with vendors and internal departments.
- Scheduling and processing payments to vendors via checks, electronic transfers, or other payment methods.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.10+ years experience.Proven experience in a senior-level AP or accounting role.Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, project billing, and AP best practices.Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal skills and attention to details.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience is a must . “ Microsoft Dynamics is preferred”.Professional certification such as IFRS is a plus.
