- Provide the necessary directions to the Site staff about health and safety issues regularly.
- Monitor the compliance of the Company HSMS by following up and conducting regular inspections and internal auditing of site activities.
- Undertake daily safety inspection and prepare report to send it to the Projects Manager and achieve it in the HSE department.
- Follow up inspecting and testing machinery and equipment, such as lifting devices, machine shields and scaffolding, to ensure that they meet safety regulations based on the color code.
- Ensure personal protective equipment, such as dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets, and the vest are being used in workplaces according to safety regulations.
- Ensure the organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation in relation to the use of its site, equipment and substances, as well as in all workplace activities.
- Ensure dangerous materials are correctly stored.
- Receive all HSE problems from the site team members in order to take action and Report immediately to the Projects Manager.
- Follow up and assist in undertaking risk assessments and receive the reports to identifying safe systems of work.
- Follow up and assist in undertaking daily and weekly toolbox talk with site assigned personnel and ensure that records are maintained.
- Assist in the development of safety procedures for high-risk activities and briefing of the workforce on their responsibilities under these procedures.
- Lead and follow up completion of the incident notification and investigations and issue the report and send it to the direct manager.
- Review subcontractor Health & Safety plans.
- Follow up Subcontractor held induction periodic sessions to ensure and stay updated with its outcome and monitor its quality.
- Make the PO regarding the HSE needs and send it to the direct manager for the approval.
- Follow up and coordinate with all HSE related governmental offices in order to make sure that the company is aligned with the governmental regulations.
● Proven work experience as a Site HSE Site manager / Team Leader or similar role● Collaborate and communicate asynchronously● Have an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude● Relevant training and/or certifications ( Osha Construction - NEBOSH will be a plus )● Bachelor degree (scientific qualification is preferred )● 8-12 years of Experience in same field
