Senior Human Resources Generalist

Egypt - Cairo

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing support in BUILDING HR FUNCTIONS FROM SCRATCH in various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
2. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
3. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
4. Administer performance management processes, including performance evaluations and goal setting.
5. Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
6. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

8. Assists with processing payroll. Partners with finance to maintain the payroll database

9. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

10. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

11. Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.


Job Requirements:1. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING HR DEPARTMENT FROM SCRATCH IN START UP COMPANIES2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on generalist responsibilities.3. Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.4. Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.7. Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office suite.8. SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
