ABOUT THE JOB

The Junior Brand Manager is responsible for assisting the Brand Manager/Marketing Director in disseminating the assigned brand core values and promise to all stakeholders, closely monitoring market trends and studying competition in the marketplace. Together they will work towards driving brand growth

Job Description:

  • Coordinating regular meetings and preparing regular reports outlining the brands’ performance.
  • Managing the status of projects and the evaluation of external agencies.
  • Conducting regular market & trade visits to have full competition overview, consumer insights and monitor brand performance.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Assisting the strategic planning process for the assigned brands based on key consumer insights to enhance current portfolio and improve communication with consumers.
  • Co-developing annual promotional plans for the assigned brands with brand manager and/or team.
  • Working closely with trade marketing team to develop activities in alignment with distribution channels and overall brand strategy.
  • Assisting the brand manager/Marketing Director in monitoring the budget of the brand.
  • Supporting in the execution of the digital strategy of the brand.
  • Implementing the marketing plans by working with internal and external suppliers to deliver in a timely manner and on budget.
  • Overseeing the development of communication and advertising materials such as websites, brochures, packaging, social media and in-store displays.
  • Working closely with brand manager, team members and suppliers to ensure the proper management of events.
  • Writing copy and preparing content for communication materials.
  • Conducting pre and post promotion evaluations.
  • Developing new brands with marketing team for new products, generating relevant names, assisting in the branding strategy and communication plans.

Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any business-related field.1 or 2 years of experience in marketing or advertising preferably in FMCG.Good command of English Language.Passion for the job and ability to cope with short term issues while keeping an eye on long term objectives.Leadership capabilities with a high sense of ownership.Creative thinking with good analytical skills.Flexibility to work under variable circumstances.Ability to work with people from different cultures creating the right team spirit.Excellent follow up & communication skills.
