- Manage client accounts, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, ensure their sea shipping needs are met efficiently and effectively, and address any issues or concerns.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of clients’ commodities.
- Support/Handle the preparation and submission of necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to clients and addressing any issues that arise.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities in the sea shipping sector to achieve sales targets.
- Assist in preparing quotations and proposals for clients, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and operational processes.
- Meet clients' needs and collaborate with internal departments to resolve any operational issues and improve service delivery.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
A bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.2-5 years of experience in sales of the freight forwarding industry, specifically in sea shipping and the Egyptian market.Strong knowledge of sea shipping procedures, documentation, and customs clearance processes in Egypt.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable sales strategies.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple operational tasks efficiently.Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected issues calmly and effectively.
