Luminary is seeking a highly organized and experienced Assistant Supply Manager to support our Supply Manager in day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making. This role is crucial for ensuring effective procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control to enhance overall operational efficiency

:Key Responsibilities
Assist in Developing Strategies: Aid the Supply Manager in developing procurement strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs
Execute Purchasing Operations: Participate in executing purchasing operations based on requests and requirements from other departments within the company
Negotiate with Suppliers: Assist in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and quality for the products and services needed by the company
Manage Contracts: Assist in preparing and reviewing supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations
Monitor Inventory: Help monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials necessary for the company’s ongoing operations
Handle Issues: Address any supplier-related issues or quality concerns and work on resolving them effectively
Prepare Reports: Prepare periodic reports on the performance of the purchasing department and present them to the Supply Manager for review
Follow Up on Purchase Orders: Monitor and track the status of purchase orders and ensure timely receipt of goods and services
Updates and Improvements: Contribute to improving procurement processes and policies based on collected data and analysis
Internal and External Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments and suppliers to ensure efficient and effective operations

:Skills Required
Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent abilities to manage various tasks and support the procurement process efficiently
Effective Negotiation and Analysis Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze procurement data effectively
Supply Chain Knowledge: Good knowledge of supply chain management principles
Proficiency in English: Very Good in English, both written and spoken
