- Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to design mechanical systems for new construction projects, as well as renovations and upgrades to existing structures.
- Creating detailed mechanical plans and specifications, including drawings, schematics, and blueprints, that outline the design and construction process.
- Selecting and specifying mechanical components, such as motors, pumps, valves, and HVAC equipment, based on project requirements and industry standards.
- Conducting calculations and simulations to ensure that mechanical systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Overseeing the installation and testing of mechanical systems, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during construction or operation.
- Conducting research on new technologies and materials, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a mechanical design engineer.- Excellent command of the English language.- In-depth knowledge and proficiency with HSAB – heat load calculation.- Must be proficient in utilizing the design platform with a strong practical working knowledge.- Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment.- Solid knowledge of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply this knowledge to manufacturing and store HVAC design.- Ability to think outside the box and develop novel products and equipment.- Experience working with external suppliers, especially in the development of machines, processes, specifications, and design/technology transfer.- Working knowledge of drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances.
