Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet school standards.
Teach various aspects of English including grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, and literature.
Maintain a positive, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop curriculum and share teaching strategies.
Integrate technology and other innovative methods into teaching.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages students to engage and participate.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and continuing education opportunities.
Maintain accurate and complete records of student's progress and development.
Adhere to school policies and procedures and state regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.- Strong understanding of English literature, grammar, and composition.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to motivate and inspire high school students.- Proficiency with technology and educational software.- Familiarity with diverse teaching methods and instructional strategies.
