- Assist in analyzing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Monitor production processes and assist in adjustments to meet quality and performance standards.
- Assist in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for quality issues.
- Assist in the development of production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Help adjust schedules and processes to accommodate changes in demand or unforeseen production issues.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety within the production team.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.2-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role. Internships or co-op experience in a similar environment is a plus.Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies is preferred.Basic proficiency in AutoCAD for production layout and design.Familiarity with production planning software and ERP systems is a plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
