Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team.
Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Handle import and export logistics, including customs documentation and compliance.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement and maintain logistics policies and procedures.
- Use logistics IT systems to optimize procedures.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving shipping issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and order statuses.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to logistics and transportation.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance metrics and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Logistics Specialist or similar role.- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.- Proficiency in logistics software ( SAP, Oracle, ).- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
