Senior Business Analyst

Egypt - Cairo

As a Business Analyst, your role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions within an organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze business processes, and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering and documenting requirements, conducting analysis, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and supporting the implementation of business solutions.

Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather information and understand business processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility.

Business Process Mapping and Modeling:

  • Develop business process models, workflows, and diagrams to visualize current and future states.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define streamlined and standardized business processes.

Solution Design and Recommendation:

  • Analyze gathered requirements and propose appropriate technology solutions to address business needs.
  • Work with technical teams to design system architectures, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Create functional specifications, user stories, and use cases to guide the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to assess the feasibility and potential value of proposed solutions.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant departments.
  • Ensure a shared understanding of requirements, goals, and deliverables among all parties.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and ensure alignment.
  • Conduct presentations, workshops, and training sessions to disseminate information and gather feedback.

Project Management Support:

  • Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Participate in testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance activities.

Change Management and Documentation:

  • Support change management activities to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Prepare user documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of requirements, specifications, and project artifacts.
  • Maintain documentation repositories and knowledge bases.

 

 


Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.Knowledge of business process modeling and improvement methodologies (e.g., BPMN).Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software is a plus.Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
