Job Description:
• Plan and carry out testing of products and materials, and compliance with safety regulations and manufacturing standards.
• Supervise a visual inspection of raw materials upon receipt and making the necessary decisions.
• Conduct daily periodic tests of random samples to ensure the suitability of raw materials and their effect on the concrete mix.
• Keep a copy of the approvals to deliver to any client or consulting party in the event of a request.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to make periodic standards for the station and concrete cars periodically.
• Receive the concrete request from the movement department and studying the customer’s needs and all the influences that will affect the mix.
• Develop a concrete mix design and determining the proportions of materials according to the client’s needs, the distance, the required liquidity ratio, and the time required for mixing.
• Supervise the follow-up of concrete, ensuring the quality, implementing tests, and following up on the results.
Identify opportunities for development of the Value added products (VAP)
• Review the Customer’s complaints and propose technical solutions
Requirements: . A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or a related field is typically required. . 5+ years of experience & Extensive experience in the ready-mix concrete industry is a must. . Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to concrete production and testing.
