- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team
- Supervise and coach team members to keep the team's skills and knowledge up to date and driving them for continuous improvement
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timelines of all financial records, ensuring all income and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewed
- Assist Finance Manager in cash flow execution
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances
- Prepare fixed asset depreciation and accruals
- Ensure all bank and petty cash accounts are accurately and timely maintained
- Facilitate and perform month end closing activities
- Supervise and participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Work with the internal & external auditors to provide the relevant documents ensuring that all queries are accurately advised
- Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
Bachelor's degree in AccountingPostgraduate studies (CMA or related Accounting certificates) are preferred10-12 years of experience (preferably in Construction)Excellent time management and attention to details skills are requiredExcellent leadership skill and ability to motivate the team and lead by exampleAbility to thrive in a deadline-driven environmentExperience in working on ERP system (SAP) is a plusVery good proficiency in English (verbal and written)
