Job Details

  • Meets with Heads of Departments to review their recruitment needs, ensuring they are following their manpower budgets.
  • Develops and implements recruiting and screening systems and procedures in order to attract qualified candidates for position vacancies
  • Provide full-cycle recruiting support to hiring managers for filling vacant positions.
  • Sets up interviews for all vacancies, with a selected interview panel, and provides feedback to the hiring manager and updates the candidate of the outcome
  • Informs prospective colleagues about visa documentation, joining formalities and relocation and hiring policies and ensures smooth arrival of the colleagues within stipulated date
  • Administers joining formalities of the new hires ensuring that all the documentation provided by the new hire is accurate and up-to-date
  • Reviewing relevant paperwork and documentation related to the recruitment process.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees.
  • Be a day-to-day resource to employees and management regarding questions about HR policies and programs.
  • Conduct internal investigations on workplace situations that may be highly sensitive, confidential, or complex and prepare all required documentation with a focus on issue resolution.
  • Partner with managers on the development of corrective action and implementation of performance improvement plans.
  • Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews
  • Maintains personnel files, records, and documents
  • Responding to queries relating to time off, absences, and leaves
  • Administer accurately the payroll system with new hires, changes, and terminations
  • Deliver needed monthly payroll reports on time
  • Provide full-service HR support to Fine Dining and hospitality properties
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree & 2-4 years’ equivalent work experience in an HR role
  • Restaurant /Hospitality experience is a must
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • · Ability to problem solve and think strategically
  • · Excellent time-management skills; effective organizing skills; ability to plan and prioritize own work program under tight deadlines
  • · Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds
