Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Tendering Section Head - Energy to lead and manage the tendering activities for electrical and energy projects, with a strong focus on substation projects.
Requirements:Lead and supervise the Energy Tendering team and manage the tendering workflow. Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements. Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals, including BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, and other relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Evaluate project requirements, risks, technical specifications, and contractual conditions. Prepare competitive pricing strategies while maintaining project requirements and company objectives. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate technical and commercial quotations. Ensure all tender submissions are technically compliant, commercially accurate, and submitted within deadlines. Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and systems used in substations, OHTL and power projects. Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and team leadership skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant tendering/estimation tools.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.10-12 years of relevant experience in Substation projects. Experience in HV/MV substations and related electrical systems and equipment. Previous experience in EPC, Power, Energy, is highly preferred. Proven experience in a Tendering / Estimation / Pre-Sales role, with demonstrated leadership experience.
