Role Description This is a full-time Quality Engineer role based in New Cairo, offered in a hybrid model with a mix of on-site and work-from-home flexibility. The Quality Engineer will design, implement, and maintain quality processes across digital ID management products, ensuring adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing test plans, performing root cause analysis for defects, collaborating with engineering and product teams to improve product quality, and monitoring key quality metrics. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, documenting quality procedures, and supporting audits and compliance activities.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Quality Engineering and Product Quality to design, execute, and improve quality frameworks for software platforms. Experience in Quality Control, including test planning, inspection, and defect tracking across the product lifecycle. Proficiency in Quality Assurance practices to ensure processes, standards, and documentation are consistently applied. Knowledge of Quality Management principles to support continuous improvement, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with software testing tools, automation frameworks, and agile development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to process optimization. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams. Experience in cybersecurity, identity management, or regulated technology environments is an advantage.
