We are looking for a Paper Mill Engineer with basic to intermediate experience to operate, monitor, and support our paper production line. The role focuses on machine operation, quality control, troubleshooting, and daily production follow-up under supervision. Ideal for a motivated engineer looking to grow in the tissue & paper industry.

Machine Operation & Production

- Operate and monitor paper machine (Yankee dryer, forming section, press section, dryer section) at standard speed and GSM

- Follow daily production plan; track production output, efficiency, and downtime

- Adjust machine parameters (speed, tension, vacuum, steam pressure) as instructed to maintain quality

​

- Change grades, rolls, and doctor blades according to standard procedures

Quality Control & Process Monitoring

- Monitor paper quality: smoothness, thickness, moisture, tensile strength, softness, and visual defects

- Conduct routine quality checks; record readings and log all abnormalities

​

- Coordinate with Quality team to resolve recurring quality

​

- Help resolve common issues: paper breaks, coating buildup, Yankee dirt, and web alignment problems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Mechatronics or Mechanical

•  1-3 years of experience in a similar field.

• Good command of English language.

• Very Good communication skills
