Job Purpose:Lead the estimation and tendering functions and ensure accurate, competitive, and commercially sound cost estimates for construction projects and tenders. Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and review of project cost estimates and tenders. Analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contractual requirements. Develop accurate quantities, rates, labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect cost estimates. Coordinate with Civil, Architectural, MEP, Procurement, and Commercial teams. Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations. Develop tender budgets and cost breakdowns. Conduct market analysis and benchmark material and subcontractor prices. Identify commercial risks, exclusions, assumptions, and opportunities. Review tender submissions and ensure accuracy before final submission. Maintain estimation databases, historical costs, and pricing benchmarks. Lead and develop the estimation team. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.15 years of construction estimation experience. Strong experience in major construction tenders and projects. Excellent knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, construction methods, and cost estimation. Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing. Experience with Estimation tools. Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
