Job Overview
We are seeking a competent and dynamic "Managing Editor" to lead our digital newsroom. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of digital storytelling, audience engagement strategies, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), in addition to a proven track record in managing editorial teams in a fast-paced digital news environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the digital newsroom to ensure the production of high-quality, accurate content in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement comprehensive digital content strategies aligned with the platform's vision and growth performance indicators.
• Manage, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of digital journalists, reporters, and multimedia content creators.
• Edit and approve journalistic material, ensuring strict adherence to editorial policy and professional ethics.
• Use data analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to monitor audience behavior and adjust editorial priorities based on findings.
• Collaborate continuously with social media, video, and SEO teams to increase content reach and enhance engagement.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest digital journalism trends, emerging platforms, and innovative storytelling techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, Communication, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in digital journalism, including at least 2 years in an editorial leadership position.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and drafting skills, with a keen journalistic sense and extreme attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and audience data analytics.
• Ability to make quick editorial decisions and work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
