Role Description The Senior Outgoing Tour Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for designing and managing international tour packages, including itinerary planning, pricing, and coordination with global suppliers and local partners. The Senior Outgoing Tour Operator handles customer inquiries, prepares customized travel proposals, processes reservations, and ensures smooth travel arrangements from booking to post-trip follow-up. Daily tasks include managing group and individual bookings, negotiating rates, optimizing sales opportunities, and maintaining accurate records in reservation systems. The role also involves collaborating with sales and customer service teams, monitoring market trends, and contributing to promotional campaigns to enhance Travel Yalla’s outgoing travel portfolio.
Qualifications
Strong experience in Travel & Tourism, including international destination knowledge and tour package creation. Proficiency in organizing Guided Tours and coordinating group itineraries and logistics. Solid background in Reservations, with hands-on experience using booking and GDS systems. Demonstrated Sales skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets in travel services. Excellent Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on problem-solving and traveler satisfaction. Strong communication skills in English; Arabic fluency is highly beneficial. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines. Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within an outgoing tour department is preferred. Relevant diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
